The sixth Biznet Bali International Triathlon is set to return to Jimbaran Bay in Bali, Indonesia, this coming Sunday 24 June. According to a report by the Jakarta Post, over 800 participants are expected in the race, which will see some changes to the bike course.
According to the Jakarta Post, as of Monday, the number of people registered for the Olympic-distance and Sprint-distance races this year had reached around 600. Organisers predict that this year’s total number of participants could reach over 800.
Those registered thus far hail from 24 countries, with Australians topping the list, followed by Indonesians, British nationals and Americans. Last year, 54% of the total 703 participants were from Indonesia.
