USA Triathlon (USAT) has determined the events in each of its 10 regions that will serve as the 2013 Regional Championships and Special Qualifiers. These provide US triathletes the opportunity to qualify for the 2013 USA Triathlon Olympic-Distance National Championships.
The top 33% of each age group at Regional Championships and Special Qualifiers contested prior to 29 July will automatically qualify for the 2013 USA Triathlon Olympic-Distance National Championships, which will take place on 10 August in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Regional Championships or Special Qualifiers held after 29 July will qualify athletes for the 2014 Olympic-Distance Nationals.
Registration for a number of Regional Championships and Special Qualifying races is open now. Athletes can find out more about the Regional Championships and Special Qualifiers at usatriathlon.org.

- Mideast: Epic Races (June 30, Grass Lake, Mich.)
- Midwest: Omaha Triathlon (July 21, Omaha, Neb.)
- Northeast: Mass State Triathlon (July 14, Winchendon, Mass.)
- Pacific Northwest: Portland Triathlon (Sept. 22, Portland, Ore.) – Qualifier for 2014 Nationals
- Rocky Mountain: Boulder Peak Triathlon (July 14, Boulder, Colo.)
- South Midwest: Route 66 Olympic-Distance Triathlon (June 2, El Reno, Okla.)
- Southeast: Memphis in May Triathlon (May 19, Memphis, Tenn.)
- Southwest: Silicon Valley Triathlon (June 23, San Jose, Calif.)

- Mideast: Leon’s Triathlon (June 2, Hammond, Ind.)
