The European Triathlon Union (ETU) has signed a partnership agreement with triathlon apparel specialist 2XU. As stated by Europe’s umbrella triathlon federation, the agreement will see ETU Technical Officials at all ETU events in 2XU branded clothing.
ETU President Renato Bertrandi said “The ETU is proud to announce that we have reached a collaboration agreement with 2XU, a company well known and respected for its quality products in our sport. We are sure that our organisations will be able to leverage on this agreement with advantages for all of us.”
Matthias Filser, of Filser Sport & Marketing, representing 2XU, said “2XU is one of the worldwide leader in high quality triathlon clothing and wetsuits. The partnership with ETU will bring 2XU awareness over all triathlon events in Europe.”
Filser added, “We are very proud that ETU decided to wear 2XU at their events and we looking forward to a long and good cooperation.”
The European Triathlon Union (ETU) was established in 1984 to develop triathlon across Europe. There are currently over thirty national federations affiliated to the ETU and that number is steadily increasing as the organisation works hard to continue to develop and support emerging national federations.
