In order to keep its brand’s shopping experience flexible and versatile, SLS3, the manufacturer of high-quality compression and triathlon race apparel, is launching Shopatron’s retail-integrated eCommerce solution.
With a quick implementation of Shopatron’s ‘Add to Cart’ feature, SLS3 is now able to take orders made on its website and seamlessly pass these to local retailers, via the Shopatron Order Exchange, for delivery to the consumer.
SLS3 notes that the Shopatron process not only enables the brand to increase sales both online and offline, but, at the same time, improve relationships with existing retailers and better recruit new retailers to stock SLS3 products.
“For us, Shopatron is the best way to support our existing retailers and establish relationships with new ones,” said Sebastian Linke, owner of SLS3.
Shopatron reportedly enabled over 270 sporting goods brands, working with 4,900 local retailers, to increase online sales by 14% in 2012. As a new sporting goods brand working with Shopatron, SLS3 will benefit from the size and success of Shopatron’s client base in the sporting goods industry.
“With over 270 brands, and counting, Shopatron has been able to establish a very strong order exchange in the sporting goods industry,” said Shopatron SVP of Marketing Mark Grondin. “Local sporting goods shops using Shopatron are able to fulfil online orders for many brands that they stock, and new brands coming onto the platform immediately gain access to almost 5,000 retailers. It is a good example of a win-win for branded manufacturers and their retailers.”
