Tri Dynamic’s annual Tenerife Swim Faster Camp with Dan Bullock sold out in record time this year. For those who missed out on a place, there is now another chance to escape the UK and North European winter and get some sun while making vital swim progress.
Triathlon training specialist Tri Dynamic has announced a second week of its Tenerife Swim Faster Camp with Dan Bullock from Swim For Tri. The new camp will take place from 23 February 2014 to 2 March at the world class Tenerife Top Training facility where Alistair Brownlee, Hannah Miley, Ian Thorpe, Britta Steffen and several Olympic and World Champions regularly train.
As with all Tri Dynamic camps, the number of participants is strictly limited to ensure that each athlete gets lots of individual coaching and feedback from Dan Bullock. There are multiple swim sessions each day in the world class 25m and 50m pools, plus open water sessions at a variety of sheltered beaches nearby.
This camp is positioned as a great way to improve swimming technique and is the perfect time to start implementing changes ahead of next season. With daily individual video feedback from swim expert Dan Bullock, athletes will know exactly how to improve and what to work on. Tri Dynamic notes that there have been some massive improvements from former camp attendees across all distances.
At the end of the camp each participant goes away with a DVD charting their progression throughout the week prepared by Dan Bullock. There are also land based core, flexibility and range of motion sessions. For anyone wanting to get in a few bike rides, Tri Dynamic can arrange excellent quality carbon road bikes for hire so athletes can explore some of the great riding Tenerife has to offer.
Both Bradley Wiggins and Chris Froome have both trained in Tenerife in preparation for the Tour de France. Former 31 min 10K track runner, current Outlaw 2013 Champion, sub 10 Ironman competitor and former World AG Duathlon Champion Victoria Gill will also be on hand during the camp. She will offer advice and lead an optional run master class.
Places are expected to fill fast; so athletes are advised to book early to avoid missing out.
