Triathlon performance expert Dr J Coaching & Bike Fitting has officially launched the company’s brand new website: drjcoachingandbikefitting.co.uk.
Founded by award winning triathlon coach Judith Brand, the Dr J Team aim to provide everything athletes need to set up for optimum performance in triathlon. Operating out of the company’s very own ‘Performance Lab’ in Newark, Nottinghamshire, UK, the team offers several packages, to cover ‘all bases’ of triathlon training:

- Bespoke Training Packages
With over 20 years’ experience in triathlon, as an age-group athlete, coach and triathlon technical official, it is safe to say that you are in good hands with Judith. And the results she has achieved with her athletes speak for themselves too.
Judith works with an impressive line-up of athletes, including Cat Faux, Ironman World Championship overall age-group record holder and Ironman World Champion F25 – 29 2013.
Cat said, “I do listen to my body but I think if I didn’t have a coach I’d err on the side of doing too much rather than too little, since I’m sometimes unsettled when I hear about the vast volumes of training that some others do.”
She’s also learned to mix up the training paces and efforts. “Until I started with a coach I’d never varied the pace of any runs, doing each one at the same sort of speed.”
With the new website and ongoing expansion of her coaching/bike fitting operation, Judith is excited about what lies ahead. She also promises to offer the very best service for all the athletes she works with. Judith said, “Whether you are new to triathlon, an improver looking to ‘better your best’, or an elite looking to find that extra edge then I am here to help. My experience is incredibly varied and I pride myself on offering the ‘whole package.’ I like to ensure that every athlete I work with achieves everything they need and more.”
Judith continued “Retül Bike Fitting is proving to be especially popular for us, with lots of athletes choosing to get themselves properly set up ahead of this season’s races. I have seen a wide selection of athletes, including some GB age grouper athletes prior to their World Championships as well as World Champion para-triathlete, David Ellis and his guide Luke Watson for a fit on their tandem.
“The East Midlands Regional Academy athletes are also choosing to come to Dr J for a Retül bike fitting as part of their preparation for the 2014 season. I’m really excited with what 2014 has in store, and am enjoying getting well stuck in!”
