RacePartner – the endurance registration and fundraising solutions provider – has signed an agreement to sponsor triathletes Jarrod Shoemaker and Alicia Kaye, which will ‘promote endurance registration through a worldwide multi-media marketing campaign.’
Kaye and Shoemaker will be consulting on the development of new features for RacePartner Endurance Registration; and RacePartner also expects to coordinate ‘the launches of ground-breaking endurance and triathlon registration tools with Kaye and Shoemaker’s professional competition appearances.’
Kaye will be competing in the 2014 Lifetime Series with stops in Miami, Austin, NYC, Chicago, Minneapolis and Oceanside. Shoemaker will be competing in the ITU World Triathlon Series (ITU WTS) with stops in Auckland, Yokohama, Chicago, Hamburg and Edmonton.
“RacePartner is a natural fit for Alicia and me,” said Shoemaker. “We have been working with the leadership of RacePartner for a few years on other web projects such as Endurance Shield, and RacePartner shares the same values and passion for the endurance community. I’m excited to be partnering with this ground-breaking registration company.”
“Alicia and Jarrod are star athletes that embody the performance of our registration software,” added Robert Anderson, RacePartner Founding Partner. “As elite athletes, Alicia and Jarrod will bring elite expertise to the continuous innovation of RacePartner tools, benefiting event organizations and participants all over the world.”
Kaye and Shoemaker gained international attention through their race series victories and being named athletes of the year in 2013 and 2012 respectively. Kaye won the 2013 Lifetime Fitness Series and was named the 2013 American Triathlete of the Year by Triathlete Magazine. Shoemaker is a two-time World Champion, was the 2012 USAT National Champion, was named the 2012 USAT Elite Athlete of the Year, and was a 2008 Olympian.
