Quarq power meter configuration change and price reduction

Quarq power meters, including SRAM RED 22, Quarq ELSA and Quarq RIKEN, will now be sold as a ‘chassis’ – carbon fibre crank arms, power meter spider and chainring bolts – with chainrings sold separately. The configuration change is accompanied by a price reduction.

According to Quarq, its power meter chassis offering expands drivetrain compatibility, giving consumers their choice of 10-speed, 11-speed or 1X chainrings. For dealers, it enhances flexibility for new bike builds and upgrades. In addition to the configuration change, Quarq has adjusted power meter prices.

‘The price reduction is real and not a consequence of the new sales configuration.’
