SUNDRiED campaign on Twitter to find triathlon ambassadors

The colourful SUNDRiED lifestyle apparel range is fast becoming a regular sight at events across the UK. The brand’s bold and unique designs aim to appeal to individuals who enjoy the outdoors, with a number of event sponsorships and initiatives under way to support the brand since its launch earlier this year.

The brand is also becoming a kit item of choice for pro triathletes, including Ironman 70.3 UK Champion Eimear Mullan who recently wore her SUNDRiED Triathlete t-shirt when she topped the podium at Wimbleball for the third year running.

A fortnight ago the team at SUNDRiED announced that they would be recruiting for SUNDRiED triathlete ambassadors – an exciting opportunity for two energetic triathletes to join the team and help promote the growing product range.

The team can now announce that this campaign will run through the SUNDRiED (@sundried) Twitter site and will be open to all triathletes, regardless of their ability. What the team would like to see more than anything else is creativity, energy and passion – and for individuals with the ability to demonstrate why they would be the perfect representative for the brand.

So what will the successful SUNDRiED ambassadors receive?
SUNDRiED ambassadors will each receive a selection of SUNDRiED t-shirts, hoodies and sunglasses. They will have their own unique page on the SUNDRiED website and will be able to enjoy media coverage, paid branding on their race kit and a discount code for their family and friends.

How do you apply to be a SUNDRiED Triathlete ambassador?

  • The #TriSundried campaign will run from Thursday 3 July to Thursday 10 July.
  • All athletes have to do is simply post a single tweet which best expresses why they are most deserving of the #TriSundried Ambassador role.
  • This could be as a photo, a drawing, a web link, a poem, a cartoon – the important thing is to be as creative as possible. The aim is to stand out from the rest, and demonstrate exactly what makes the individual the best person for the role.
  • The campaign hash tag #trisundried should be included in all posts, as should the SUNDRiED twitter account: @Sundried.

Once the tweet has been successfully posted, athletes should send an email to the SUNDRiED team at kate[at]sundried.com providing name, phone number and Twitter address. The SUNDRiED team will then short-list five individuals by Monday 14 July, to invite into the next stage of the campaign.
