Italian sports nutrition and medicine firm GUNA has announced a new sponsorship agreement with Alberto ‘Silver’ Casadei, a professional athlete from Venice, Italy.
“As a professional triathlete, I was already using GUNA,” said Alberto Casadei. WWhen the opportunity arose to start a partnership, I was very excited. I always appreciated their quality and reliability as a company.”
In the last three weeks, Alberto has won first place in five triathlon competitions; and he is hoping to fulfil his dream of a top ten placing at the 2015 Ironman World Championship, in Kona, Hawaii.
GUNA notes that it provides all-encompassing solutions that work with the body, enabling athletes to maximize their performance. It does so with the power of natural ingredients that are ‘safe, clean, and fast-acting at the cellular level: they get to work right away.’
Alberto’s newest find is GUNA’s Omeosport and GUNA-Cell. GUNA’s low-dose formulation Omeosport is claimed to improve energy metabolism by increasing anaerobic threshold. GUNA-Cell works in combination with Omeosport to help increase stamina.
“At the beginning of July, I started to take GUNA-Cell and Omeosport,” added Casadei. “Almost immediately, I felt a faster recovery after intense and prolonged effort that my daily workouts required. In my last five races, I have not experienced cramps (usually over a two-hour race, I have them). The results speak for themselves, since I started the GUNAprotocol, I won 5 races in 3 weeks (3 triathlon sprints and 2 half ironman events).”
Alberto Casadei has many victories for a 29-year old triathlete including four time Italian Elite Champion and 73 victories in triathlon races at all distances. He is a member of the Italian Elite National Triathlon Team and has finished four times in the top ten at a world championship event.
