The 2015 USA Triathlon National Championships season gets underway on Saturday at the USA Triathlon Winter Triathlon National Championships, held in conjunction with the Winter Challenge at Bogus Basin in Boise, Idaho.
The Winter Triathlon Nationals is the first of 13 National Championship events held by USA Triathlon this year. Athletes from across the US will compete for national titles in a traditional winter triathlon format, featuring a 4K cross country run, 14K bike and 6K Nordic ski. The course was updated this week to reflect the current snow conditions at Bogus Basin’s Nordic Lodge.
The Winter Challenge at Bogus Basin was Idaho’s first winter triathlon event. This spectator-friendly course includes rolling hills, with 350 feet of climbing on each of the three bike laps and a fast out-and-back ski course. For more information Saturday’s race, visit
