ASICS America has announced that both the ASICS 33-M and GEL-Noosa Tri 10 have been awarded top honours in FITNESS Magazine’s April 2015 issue, which hits newsstands this week and contains their annual sneaker guide.
FITNESS Magazine receives hundreds of new footwear options for review each year. This year, they asked 152 women to ‘sweat-test’ more than 100 of the latest styles.
The ASICS 33-M was named ‘Best Max Cushioned Sneaker’. Readers said ‘For plump, pillowy cushioning that will still promote great, natural running form, put on the surprisingly light ASICS 33-M.’ They found its seamless upper and ‘very responsive’ new AmpliFoam are both ‘great for really long runs’.
The GEL-Noosa Tri 10 was voted ‘Best Triathlon Shoe’ and the magazine says ‘Ease your bike-to-run transition with the great cushioning and superb support of the ASICS GEL-Noosa Tri 10 shoes; they fit pretty perfectly, thanks to seamless mesh uppers (for sockless wear) and heel and tongue grips, which help you slip them on and off quickly.’
