Bicycle.net Elite Track Team chooses Exustar PT107TK track pedals

Los Angeles based amateur track team bicycle.net has chosen Exustar track pedals and double straps to propel its way to the top of the field in the Team Pursuit at the 2015 California State and National Track Championships.

“I recently pulled out of a well-known brand of pedals while training at the Van Nuys Velodrome,” states Jonathan Tessler, Founder of the bicycle.net website and cycling teams. “When I saw the Exustar track pedal double strap combination, I knew there was no better product out there for security and ultimate power on your track bike. We immediately contacted Exustar to get the Team onboard.”

The bicycle.net Team also includes road and mountain bike squads. The goal of the Team is to foster growth, inclusion and comradery among bicycle racing enthusiasts of all kinds.

Designed specifically for the track, the E-PT107TK features an extra-firm adjustable clip-in spring system, with an option to attach double leather toe straps ‘for peerless security and power transfer’.

Triple LSL bushings, sealed and needle axle bearings provide smooth, efficient pedaling with the heat-treated, CNC-machined Cr-Mo cartridge axle, and the precision tension gauge lets athletes set the fiberglass-reinforced thermoplastic binding to their personal weight and power needs.

The aluminium body measures 82x82mm and uses Exustar’s E-BLK11 fixed cleats. The pedals weigh 180 grams each, and retail for US$78.

The EMM152 double toe straps feature extra-thick black suede genuine leather, with stainless steel buckles. At 145mm long, they are big enough for the largest feet at the Velodrome. MSRP is US$55 per pair.
