Science in Sport appoints new director

Science in Sport, a leading sports nutrition company, has appointed a new director as part of its growth strategy. Raymond Duignan will join the board next month as a non-executive director, bringing ‘extensive’ experience in the consumer industry.

Duignan set up Stamford Partners, a specialist investment bank, in the 1990s and holds roles at Finsbury Food Group and Newton Eureop. Previously, he was also a member of the board at Tate & Lyle.

Science in Sport’s chief executive Stephen Moon said “Raymond has extensive experience of consumer industries and we look forward to his input as we further advance our growth strategy.”

SiS was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Hatton Garden, London. Its manufacturing facility is in Nelson, Lancashire.

SiS shares are traded on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol SIS.
