With viewing figures for the Tour de France set to increase by over 30% again this year in the UK, there’s no doubt that cycling’s premier race has captured the interest of UK enthusiasts and casual fans alike. To tap into this demand for a look at the pro peloton, the organizers of the Cycle Show have confirmed that many of the pro team bikes will be at the NEC in Birmingham this year on 25-27 September.
The Cycle Show 2015 organizers point to Canyon, Trek, Colnago, Bianchi, Lapierre, Look, Pinarello and Argon 18 as among the show’s many stand-out brands.
Also just confirmed, Madison is collaborating with Shimano Europe to bring its new 40ft support truck from Le Tour to the NEC for its first UK appearance. It will showcase the latest Shimano and PRO components including Dura-Ace and XTR products.
There are currently just over 280 exhibitors signed up for the 2015 Cycle Show. This week’s additions include:
- Brightside Bike Lights
- Craft
- Cyclescheme
- Cycling Plus
- Success Publishing (Cycling World)
- Stone Leisure (Electric Bike Magazine)
- Gwynedd Council
- Met Helmets
- Osomount – Zero 50 Retail
- Bikeco
- Velosure
Tickets for the 2015 edition of The Cycle Show, the ‘UK’s number one cycling exhibition’, were released in April and the show organizers are aiming for another busy event in September.
The annual event will be hosted at the Birmingham NEC again this year. Opening its doors exclusively to cycle trade and press on Thursday 24 September, The Cycle Show returns with over 90% of the floorplan having already been booked. Members of the trade are also permitted entry into the show on all three public days, from 25-27 September.
Last year’s show filled three halls with 273 stands and over 25,000 visitors including 3,600 members of the bike trade.
