This month, on 30 January, Gala del Triathlon 2016 will take place in the auditorium of Testori Palazzo Lombardia in Milan. This is the fourth edition of the charity celebration of triathlon in Italy. The evening will celebrate and recognise athletes, officials and those supporting the country’s tri community. Invitations are open to the industry, athletes and members of the public with only a limited number of seats now available in the auditorium.
Attendance costs €25. This includes: a seat in the auditorium to watch the evening; a welcome pack that includes offerings put forward by Gala del Triathlon sponsors; an aperitif and buffet.
Places are limited and are now running low. Registration will be closed by the end of today; and interested parties are advised to book quickly to avoid disappointment.
A portion of the proceeds from this year’s event will go to the charity Debra Onlus which seeks to find a cure for the skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa.
On 30 January, the gala opens at 17:30 CET, with registration and access granted to the foyer area dedicated to partners of the event.
The organisers note that there will be many ‘sportsmen, supporters and professionals’ attending the event. Those confirmed include: Anna Mei, Maurizia Cacciatori, Antonio Rossi, Igor Cassina, Migidio Bourifa.
Gala del Triathlon 2016 is organized by the triathlete and journalist Dario ‘daddo’ Nardone, creator and director of the popular Italian tri website FCZ.it.
