Cycling Sports Group (CSG), a division of Dorel Industries and owner of the Cannondale brand, is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join the company’s Inside Sales Team, and a Design Engineer to join the R&D team at Cannondale’s international headquarters in Bethel, Connecticut. The company is also seeking a Project Engineer to join its R&D team in Taichung, Taiwan.
The Inside Sales Representative’s primary job functions will be to provide sales, service, support and forecasts to assigned accounts. This will help CSG deliver dealer service and the role involves acting as main contact for all issues relating to sales, product, delivery and inventory.
The ideal candidate will have a college degree with two years of experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior Independent Bike Dealer (IBD) experience and SAP knowledge would be beneficial.
The Design Engineer primary job functions will be developing carbon frames and component designs from conception to production, as well as ensuring timely project completion. Here, the ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and three to five years of proven experience in the field, a superior knowledge of bicycle products and their assembly, and fluency in 2D and 3D design software including Pro Engineer.
The Taiwan based Project Engineer will work with suppliers to ensure that quality standards are met and will provide design feedback to the product team and to qualify new suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, and three to five years of proven experience in the field, a superior knowledge of bicycle products and their assembly, and fluency in 2D and 3D design software including Pro Engineer. Fluency in English, and basic skills in Mandarin are required. Additionally, the candidate must have complete knowledge of international safety standards/requirements for bicycles.
