Rudy Project, the Italian helmets and sunglasses specialist, has revamped its existing product line with several new colours and styles in time for the start of spring training and the racing season.
According the company, one of the boldest 2016 product updates was revealed on the Rudy Project Airstorm road and mountain bike helmet, now available in a unique grey camouflage pattern accented by yellow fluo highlights. Lightweight at just 260g, the Airstorm features 21 vents for maximum flow-through air circulation and comes standard with a visor, bug stop net, and interchangeable padding for comfort.
Rudy Project’s best-selling helmet also received a colour update: the Sterling is now available in Yellow Fluo-Black Matte and Black-Red Fluo Matte. The bright new colour should help to ensure road cyclists are more visible to drivers. Designed with the aid of an Italian hat craftsman, the Sterling is billed as ‘one of the most comfortable lids ever produced, and go-to for endurance riders competing in events like the Race Across America, which Rudy Project sponsors as the Official helmet.’
Last but not least in Rudy’s line update, the Rush Youth Helmet also received two new colours for spring, ‘making it possible for little racers to pursue their big dreams with safety and style.’ Kids can now hit the road in White-Rubin Shiny or Black-Red Fluo Shiny designs, in addition to the two original Rush colour combinations.
There are also several new casual sunglasses designs. Rudy’s Momentum sunglasses will feature its award-winning Polar3FX lenses, and universal frames such as the Soundwave are now offered in ‘classic Demi Turtle Gloss frame colours.’
