Endurance event management company 3 Disciplines is heading to West Virginia in 2016.
Situated in the mountainside university town of Morgantown, the West Virginia Triathlon Championships will host a multitude of races on Sunday 19 June 2016, starting at 08:00 EST with an Olympic Triathlon, Sprint Triathlon, and Super Sprint Triathlon. Other races included are Aqua-bike and Kayak/SUP Triathlons.
Athletes from across the Mid-Atlantic and Midwest region are expected to enjoy this challenging endurance festival weekend. On Saturday 18 June, duathletes from all parts of North America will participate in the Powerman North America series race, also being held in Morgantown. Morgantown Waterfront Place Hotel, a new Marriot Hotel, serves as the venue for this exciting new event with a unique finish line – indoors in the hotel’s 15,000 square foot entertainment room.
Amenities included are custom apparel for all finishers, custom finisher medals, custom Age Group awards and sponsor supplied raffle for all finishers. All races will be USA Triathlon Sanctioned. The duathlons are part of the USA Triathlon Mid-Atlantic Region Duathlon Series.
