XX2i Optics, crafters of award-winning polarized and performance sunglasses, has announced its sponsorship of Canadian runner and 2016 Olympic hopeful Natasha LaBeaud Anzures.

In addition to her National Team membership, Natasha was the second place Canadian Marathoner in 2014, qualifier for the 2015 Canadian Pan American and World XC Teams, and is the current Canadian National Record Holder with the Chiba Ekiden relay team.
“My major goal this year is to qualify for the 2016 Olympic Games, but I am constantly setting goals for overall personal bests,” Natasha shared. “I would also like to challenge the Canadian 10k and marathon national records soon.”
Outside of her impressive running accolades, Natasha cofounded the non-profit organization 2nd Recess, a health-centred US 501(c)(3) youth non-profit serving San Diego County. Since its inception in the summer of 2011, the focus of 2nd Recess has been to inspire youth and their families to be active through running.
