Tri-California Events has presented its partnership with RVPlusYou, a unique and personalized RV service that connects renters to RV owners – who will deliver and set up their recreational vehicles at desired locations, including this year’s Wildflower Triathlon festival weekend on 29 April to 1 May 2016.
As Tri-California points out, athletes and spectators can take in the joys of camping and racing outdoors while relaxing in the luxury and comfort of an RV.
“Glamping is all about enjoying the best of both worlds – a pristine wilderness experience coupled with all of the comforts of home, and then some,” said Colleen Bousman, President of Tri-California Events.
“After leaving it all out there on the course, nothing beats a comfortable place to kick up some tired feet, and the chance to catch a few winks before heading back to the festival.”
She continued, “RVPlusYou delivers a luxury camping experience so that our Wildflower athletes can enjoy the spoils of nature and victory they deserve, allowing an alternative to the tent for those that may have steered away from Wildflower thinking the only option was to rough it.”
RVPlusYou is positioned as being different than other RV companies in that each unit is individually owned. After an RV is selected according to need from a detailed list of amenities, the owner will then deliver it to the specified campsite.
There is therefore no need to incur the steep costs of filling the RV gas tank or the higher rates from corporate rental companies; or the hassle of driving a big RV to a race destination. Athletes at Wildflower can simply drive their cars up to the location and begin to enjoy the RV accommodation. At the end of the vacation, the athlete checks-out and drives away in their own vehicle.
As Tri-California points out, ‘The Wildflower Triathlons are notoriously fun but they’re also equally as tough. With the comfort of an RV, racers can revel in the beauty of Wildflower’s natural surroundings while at the same time reaping the benefits of a good-night’s sleep before and after race day.’
All Wildflower race events take place on 30 April to 1 May 2016 at Lake San Antonio, South Shore in Monterey County, California.
