220 Triathlon Magazine’s Features Editor Matt Baird has had his debut book Triathlon! (Aurum Press) selected for an Illustrated Book of the Year nomination.
The 2016 Cross Sports Book Awards will be presented by Sky Sports news presenter Mike Wedderburn and Test Match Special’s Alison Mitchell at a ceremony taking place at Lord’s Cricket Ground on 1 June. A one hour highlights show will be shown on Sky Sports with multiple repeat shows on 4-5 June.
After the individual category winners have been announced on 1 June, each winner will then be promoted in a media and retail campaign – with an online public vote determining the Overall Cross Sports Book of the Year.
Helping to propel the sport of triathlon to the masses, Triathlon! by Matthew Baird was launched in September 2015. The book is positioned as a ‘celebration of the triathletes, courses and gear that make up one of the fastest growing sports in the world.’
