Female Coaching Network (FCN) in new partnership with sports marketing & PR firm Very Berry

Female Coaching Network

Very Berry has become the official commercial and marketing partner of the Female Coaching Network (FCN) aiming to support its rapid growth and media demands. FCN is now a leading global community for female coaches around the world and engages thousands of coaches in over 200 countries each day.

Very Berry was founded in 2009 by Melanie Berry who has worked within the sports marketing industry for over 20 years with brands such as Boots, Speedo, Adidas, DFS and numerous national governing bodies. Melanie will bring her commercial and marketing expertise to FCN and work alongside its founder to ‘develop a robust and enhanced commercial and brand proposition’.

Melanie Berry said “I am very excited to be working with Vicky Huyton and the team at the FCN. Women’s sport has seen substantial growth over the last four years and the FCN has so much to offer globally. As a coach myself I know the barriers many women have to enable them to succeed and grow into a high performing coach.”

Vicky Huyton, founder of FCN said “This is a really exciting time for the FCN and I am looking forward to bringing Mel on board. With her experience and passion for both sports marketing and coaching, Mel will be a fantastic addition to the FCN team and will allow us to support even more female coaches around the world.”

To kick start the partnership, Very Berry has secured a clothing sponsorship deal for FCN with UK based company KitLocker, which will be supplying bespoke women’s fitted coaching kit branded with the FCN logo.
