The organisers of the Brighton and Hove Triathlon are pushing what is being billed as ‘the biggest free outdoor fitness show in the UK’ alongside September race.
Running on 10-11 September, the Sport and Fitness Show offers a weekend festival of sport and provides… ‘triathlon spectators entertainment for all the family with a main stage packed with fitness classes and ‘Have a Go’ activities such as a ski and snowboard slope, Go Ape Segway adventure, Athletes Gym courtesy of Innocent Coconut Water, Quidditch coaching, archery tag, bubble football, a yoga tent, calisthenics rig and much more!’
John Lunt, Race Director of Brighton and Hove Triathlon said, “The Sport and Fitness Show is going to be a great festival of activity for all the family. It’s going to keep people entertained and provide a really great Brighton experience for everyone taking part in the triathlon. It’s going to give triathletes, their families, and local people a great opportunity to take part in lots of sporty and healthy activities with likeminded people.”
Fitness Show Event Manager Josie Pether said, “We wanted to create a show where triathletes can bring their entire family for a fun day out. The show is packed with free activities for adults and children as well as a shopping village with quality exhibitors.”
The show will host a number of tri specific products as well as over 40 sports and lifestyle brands including Linwoods, Innocent, Mango Bikes, BMW, Bike Tart, High Roller, High5, Zone3, Travel Bag, Sundried Clothing, Beet It, Little Miracles, Massage Tech, Arbonne, Heck Sausages and many more.
The triathlon event’s prize-giving will be on the main stage in the show, which will also see Zumba Fitness’ UK Master Trainer running fitness classes over the weekend; and visitors will also find Les Mills classes, Ballet Fit, Karate, British Military Fitness, a Strongman competition and more classes for visitors.
Alongside the many nutrition based exhibitors, food is being served by Brighton’s much loved Street Diner. Post-race, hungry participants can expect ‘mouth-watering dishes from a selection of well vetted traders serving the world’s most popular dishes, as well as a few beers!’
