According to the team behind triathlon.de, Germany’s leading triathlete website, the month of July 2011 saw triathlon.de reach the 330,000 visits mark. This represents a 20% gain in visitor numbers when compared to the same period last year. It also reaffirms triathlon.de as the most popular triathlon portal in Germany.
“July went really great for us,” said Meike Maurer, Editor in Chief at triathlon.de. “Obviously, our readers have liked that we have strengthened our editorial team. We thank our readers for their continued trust and loyalty.”
Having moved from 280,000 visits in July 2010 to over 330,000 in July 2011, triathlon.de managed to generate more than 200,000 unique users for the first time last month. All visitors in July generated a total of over 1.3 million page views on the site. All figures are from triathlon.de, and are based on Google Analytics.
