Produced by Dream Team Television for IRONMAN UK & Ireland, a TV show dedicated to IRONMAN Wales is airing on Channel 4 this Sunday 2 October at 06:30 GMT and Ch4+1 at 07:30. The show is the product of the continued partnership between Dream Team and mainstream UK television station Channel 4.
IRONMAN Wales returned to Tenby on Sunday 10 September 2017. The event takes place amidst the castles and stunning landscapes of Pembrokeshire on the South Wales coast. After a 2.4 mile sea swim in the historic setting of Tenby, a challenging 112 mile bike ride takes in some big climbs before athletes face the 26.2 mile run to the finish.
Having run since 2011, the event enjoys big crowds and offers athletes a chance to qualify for the IRONMAN World Championships in Kona, Hawaii. The race attracts thousands of triathletes, including some of the world’s leading pros alongside Welsh rugby legends, Shane Williams, Ryan Jones and Ian Gough.
