Scottish cycle apparel specialist Endura has unveiled the new Endura Pro SL Bibshort II, billed as ‘the much anticipated successor to [the] game-changing Pro SL Bibshort’. Available with two leg length options, to complement the choice of three pad widths introduced with the original, Endura adds that its new bibshort boasts a ‘pared back aesthetic that is both sleek and stylish’.
Endura adds that… ‘Built on a foundation of high-quality Italian power lycra, treated with Coldblack technology to reduce heat and provide Factor 50 UV protection, the Pro SL Bibshort II is the irresistible sequel to our best-selling bibshort.’
Endura’s 700-series pad, cut by computer in a Continuously Variable Profile (CVP), provides a ‘benchmark in engineered comfort’, and is the cornerstone of the Pro SL Bibshort II. The pad’s gentle contours are the result of Endura’s collaboration with pressure mapping experts gebioMized and research with the riders of Movistar Team, among others.
Another Italian innovation, the pad’s flame laminated, open-cell foam core, is layered in a ‘sandwich’ construction, and ‘absorbs the sustained pressure of even the longest ride’.
Endura continued… ‘Every best seller deserves a sequel, and the Pro SL Bibshort II offers a compelling follow-up to one of the most important tech stories in the recent history of cycling apparel. An understated aesthetic, epitomised by the minimalist, raw edge hems, makes the Pro SL Bibshort II an ideal companion to key pieces in the new SS17 Pro SL collection, such as the Pro SL Short-Sleeved Jersey and Pro SL Lite Gilet.’
The Pro SL Bibshort (RRP £119.99) is available in three pad widths, 2 leg lengths and size XS to XXL.
