Having confirmed the opening of a stand-alone outlet in Belfast, Northern Ireland, online cycling retailer Chain Reaction Cycles, ‘the world’s biggest online store’, has the official opening this weekend. The official opening of Chain Reaction Cycles’ (CRC’s) new store on the Boucher Road, Belfast, takes place at 10:00 GMT this Saturday 1 October.
Visitors at the opening will get the chance to chat and ride with Olympic silver medallist Wendy Houvenaghel plus take advantage of CRC’s in-store promotions, and be in with the chance of winning free concert tickets and spot prizes from Cool FM!
Joining CRC straight from the 2011 National Championships at the Manchester Velodrome, Houvenaghel’s career successes include winning three National 3km Pursuit Championships (2005, 2006, 2010), three National Time Trial Circuit Championships (2003, 2007, 2011) and three World Track Championships, Team Pursuit (2008, 2009, 2011).
In its release about the new Belfast store, CRC said, ‘We’re honoured that Wendy has agreed to cut the ribbon to mark the official opening to our flagship store, and for providing an opportunity to spend time with such a talented rider before she sets her sights on further glory in London.’
Wendy Houvenaghel will be at the official store opening at 1 Balmoral Plaza, Boucher Road, Belfast, BT12 6HR.
