BikeFlights.com has signed a two-year deal with Amaury Sport Organisation (A.S.O.) to be the Tour de France Official Bicycle Shipping Service. The licensing contract went into effect on January 1, 2019 and runs through the end of 2020.
“The Tour de France is an iconic event, and it’s an honour for us to be able to help more cyclists get their bikes to and from France to go ride some of the same roads as the pros,” said BIkeFlights.com’s President William Alcorn. “We’re proud of this new association with the Amaury Sport Organisation which comes as we’ve grown over the last decade to become the leading bicycle shipper.”
BikeFlights.com offers a door-to-door service for cyclists who ship their bikes to and from France. After booking their bike’s shipment with BikeFlights.com, a cyclist can travel ‘unencumbered by their bike’, through airports en-route. The bike will be awaiting them upon arrival… ‘just like happens for the pros’.
Under the agreement, BikeFlights.com will work with A.S.O to promote BikeFlights.com’s bicycle shipping service among Tour de France fans, participants of bike tours run by A.S.O.’s Official Tour Operators, and riders attending other A.S.O events.
