It’s now over 7-months since the earthquake and Tsunami devastated Kamaishi in Japan; and Tri4Japan charity organisers, Mike and Rieko Trees, will be heading out to Japan shortly to visit the town and see for themselves how the community is coping and what Tri4Japan can do to help.
The visit will also be a chance for them to assess the most effective projects to help with funds raised by the global multisport community since Tri4Japan was started in March. Through generous donations, the Tri4Japan eBay auction, cycle jersey sales and Tri4Japan Newton Racer donations the charity has raised over £70,000 to help ease the suffering of those affected by the Tsunami.
Mike and Rieko will ensure that every penny of that money is used as effectively as it can be to help those that have had their homes and lives devastated by the Tsunami.
