HYROX, the specialist indoor fitness competition, has shifted its new UK events to 2021 as it plans a major expansion for the series across Europe and into North America.
There are three events in the pipeline for HYROX’s entrance into the UK in the major cities of Birmingham, London and Manchester. The Birmingham event has been confirmed for March 6th, 2021 – with the exact dates for London and Manchester to be confirmed shortly.
A newly launched event video, featuring the hashtag #neverstopcompeting, gives a background to the HYROX experience and presents a moving narrative of athletes overcoming adversity.
In late 2019, Infront, a Wanda Sports Group company, entered the indoor sports & fitness market by investing in mass participation company HYROX.
The HYROX mass participation competition, which has already attracted over 25,000 participants worldwide, consists of a 1km run followed by a functional exercise. This is repeated eight times with eight different functional exercises.

HYROX began with one event in Hamburg, Germany, in 2017 and has since hosted 24 events across seven countries in Europe and North America.
