This year’s IRONMAN 70.3 Hawai`i has been cancelled due to continuing challenges caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. The rescheduled event in November 21, 2020 will now return on June 5, 2021.
IRONMAN has issued the following statement about this year’s race…
When we postponed the IRONMAN 70.3 Hawai`i triathlon from its original date of May 30 to November 21, 2020, we felt confident we would still be able to deliver an exceptional event at the later date.
Unfortunately, based on further conversations and the updated guidelines set forth by the local authorities in relation to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, along with the health and safety of our community being an utmost priority, the IRONMAN 70.3 Hawai`i triathlon cannot take place in 2020 and will now return June 5, 2021.
All registered athletes of the 2020 IRONMAN 70.3 Hawai`i triathlon will be receiving an email with further information.
In what has been a continually evolving and challenging time globally, mahalo to our athletes for their commitment and we look forward to providing them with an exceptional race experience in the future.
