To raise awareness for Esteban Chaves’ foundation, FUN, SCOTT Sports launched a special edition Addict RC frame set at the 2019 UCI World Championship in Yorkshire. A year later, SCOTT has announced that €52,400 has been raised with the commercial sale of the unique frame set.
This amount will be directly donated to the foundation providing support to its medical program and cycling sports promotion in Colombia.
Esteban’s foundation is founded on two main pillars: Sport (Cycling) and Medicine (Orthopaedics).
The ‘FUN Esteban Chaves cycling team’ gives young Colombians the chance to develop through sport and healthy competition.
The Gran Fondo Esteban Chaves (medical program) program was established to change the lives of children who may not have the resources to treat their orthopaedic problems that make it difficult for them to play, write, or even walk.
