Henley Swim has announced a new partnership with Italian beer Peroni Nastro Azzurro for its summer Club to Pub Swim.
The Club to Pub is an evening 1.5km open water swim. It is scheduled to take place on Saturday 24th July in the Thames, near London, from Henley Rowing Club to the Angel on the Bridge pub.
Peroni has become the Finish Sponsor for the 2021 event. On arrival at the pub decking directly from the river, swimmers will be handed a bottle of Peroni and a medal that doubles as a bottle opener. They can enjoy their beer on the pub decking, along with a burger from the Angel pub BBQ.
Winners of the event’s various categories, including special prizes for teams and those that choose to swim without wetsuits, will also receive prizes from Peroni at a presentation attended by the local mayor.

Henley Swim has three other open water events in the Thames from June to August, covering 200m to 14km and catering for all types of swimmer from beginners to channel swimmers.
