Following on from last year’s Rapha + Outdoor Voices collaboration, comes Nomad – a new special edition women’s collection. According to Rapha, this ‘speaks to the freedom of adventure on two wheels.’
Taking inspiration from the 1976 Bicentennial – a 4,250-mile bike ride from Astoria, Oregon, to Yorktown, Virginia – the new range celebrates this golden era of cycling through the lens of female adventure.
‘Made for discovery, not speed, the collection combines performance fabrics and practical features with a stylish design aesthetic to keep you both safe and comfortable.’
The packable Nomad Wind Jacket features a hood and adjustable hem, plus a reflective Rapha logo on the armband and rear to ensure riders stay seen in low light conditions. The psychedelic print design is positioned differently on each jacket, adding to the individuality of each piece and reduces fabric waste.
Paired with the relaxed fit Nomad Cotton T-Shirt and Nomad Cargo Bib Shorts featuring mesh pockets, the new range aims to offer a stylish yet functional option for all adventures. Riders can complete the look with a Nomad Bar Bag with hidden shoulder strap that converts the pack into an over-the-shoulder bag, for days when riding is only part of the plan.
As with Rapha tradition, each item in the collection features a hidden story label with a passage that connects both the product and its owner to its original inspiration.
