Northern Idaho is getting set to host the return of IRONMAN Coeur D’Alene on Sunday, June 27.
This returning event is part of a renewed multi-year host venue agreement and marks the return of a full-distance IRONMAN triathlon in the north-western US since 2017.
IRONMAN Coeur d’Alene will lead athletes along a 2.4-mile swim, 112-mile bike and 26.2-mile run through the Pacific Northwest scenery of Northern Idaho with the ‘iconic finish line experience downtown Coeur d’Alene has become famous for.’
The 2021 IRONMAN Coeur d’Alene offers a total professional prize purse of US$100,000. Live event coverage will be broadcast exclusively on Facebook Watch via the IRONMAN Now Channel
On Saturday, June 26, there will be an IRONKIDS race, starting at 09:00 PST. Race day is on Sunday, June 27. The event is getting set to welcome more than 2,800 registered participants.
The event will offer 150 qualifying slots to the 2021 Supersapiens IRONMAN World Championship in Kailua-Kona, Hawai`i.
The IRONMAN Village Expo opens on Thursday, June 24. In accordance with Safe Return to Racing operating principles, everyone that enters IRONMAN Village will be subject to a pre-race health questionnaire.
