New Balance Bronx 10 Mile is largest NYRR race since pandemic

The New Balance Bronx 10 Mile marked the return of autumn/fall road racing this weekend, with nearly 8,000 runners of varying ages and abilities taking over streets in the Bronx, New York. The race, on September 26, was the largest NYRR race held since the pandemic.

Since September 2020, NYRR (New York Road Runners) has produced more than 25 road races, and is gradually scaling up to the TCS New York City Marathon on November 7. The Bronx 10 Mile is utilised by many runners as a tune-up to the marathon.

The New Balance sponsored Bronx 10 Mile runs along the streets of the Concourse section of the Bronx before finishing in front of Yankee Stadium. The event also hosted the Rising New York Road Runners Field Day in Macombs Dam Park for young people aged 2-18.
