The Strata 5 from run shoe brand 361º is an update on its main stability running shoe. The company notes that its newest shoe… ‘allows runners to feel the run, not the road with its advanced comfort and cutting-edge technology.’
Along with an updated running profile, the premium long distance running shoe offers advanced cushioning and support with new materials that are soft and supportive.
The updated MORPHIT lacing configuration has been adapted to accommodate more foot types, while still providing the necessary support during dynamic motion. The adjusted medial post is extended further back. This claims to help runners slow the rate of pronation both at first contact and throughout the full gait cycle.
Ortholite foam insoles provide moisture management to prevent blisters and chafing, while an engineered heel lock helps to prevent slipping at the ankle. A pressure-free tongue conforms to the shape of the foot, reducing the risk of bruising or discomfort. Meanwhile a high performance mesh upper made out of recycled materials ensures breathability and comfort.
Saygin Emeksiz, General Manager at 361°, said “We have worked so hard to improve the Strata 4 and we are truly proud of everything that this newest edition has to offer. We can’t wait for all levels of runners to enjoy its benefits and do more than they ever thought possible.”
Suzie Cave, modern pentathlete and a 361° ambassador said, “I swear by the Strata 5 for my longer training runs and have really noticed a difference with the new improvements. It’s incredibly comfortable and provides just the right level of support to allow me to achieve my best performance.
“When training at a high level, the last thing you want is to be distracted by uncomfortable running shoes.”
