Garmin announced the return of its annual celebration of cycling, Garmin Ride Out, taking place on Saturday 20th August, 2022 at the new location of Moyles Court School, Ringwood. Accompanied by some of the best pro-cyclists in the world, riders will pedal through the New Forest to raise funds for Action Medical Research, a Sussex children’s charity who are close to the hearts of many cyclists.
With a new location comes a new route to explore. For 2022, cyclists will ride a 50-mile road route winding through the heart of the New Forest National Park. Upon completion, all riders will receive an exclusive Garmin Badge and Garmin Ride Out jersey, as well as a medal to commemorate the ride. Each ticket includes a 20% Garmin discount code, food, a refreshing Jimmy’s Iced Coffee and a crisp Lucky Saint alcohol-free lager to enjoy post ride.
Riders taking part will be able to rub shoulders with Garmin’s sponsored pro riders and special guests, including Olympic gold medalist Dani Rowe, pro-triathlete Beth Potter and mountain biking legend Martyn Ashton. Riders will get the chance to both hear from and ride alongside these cycling legends, as well as share a well-earned meal and drink when they return to the race village.

The race village will feature brands such as Madison, Lucky Saint and CHPT3, while also offering product demos and challenges, free recovery yoga post-ride and food and drink vendors. Plus, there will be a stand where participants can get hands on with the latest products in the Garmin and Garmin Tacx ranges, including the new Tacx Neo Motion Plates. Not to be forgotten is the Ride Out raffle, where participants can win some incredible prizes including Tacx trainers, Garmin watches, cycling kit and more.
