Featuring its OOfoam technology, recovery footwear specialist OOFOS is aiming to broaden its audience reach with the launch of three new products for spring-summer 2022.
An exclusive, limited edition version of the brand’s signature OOriginal sandal with high-end Japanese brand Neighborhood marks the first collaboration of its kind for OOFOS.
The Men’s OOFOS OORIGINAL Sport (Neighborhood SMU) sandal features OOfoam paired with Neighborhood’s signature branding on the upper strap and midsole bumpersets to create a minimalist look. The aim is to offer a new performance-led product to followers of Neighborhood across the UK – and a fashion-led product marketed to OOFOS’ existing fanbase.
In anticipation of summer in the northern hemisphere, OOFOS is also adding the OOcandoo to its collection, marking a first venture into the outdoor shoe market for the brand.
Designed for urban adventures through to post-hike camping to global travel, the OOcandoo is the brand’s first sandal with both a back and a strap, which offers a secure fit and versatility of use. The lightweight and packable product features the brand’s proprietary OOfoam. This is a closed-cell technology that enables the OOcandoo to be machine washable and also to float, making it ideal for canoe trips, outdoor adventures and city sightseeing.
Building on the popularity of the OOlala women’s sandal, the brand’s third bid for recovery footwear market penetration this spring/summer comes in the form of the Women’s OOmega OOlala Sandal. The new, platform sandal is aimed at a lifestyle audience and includes a MEGA OOfoam midsole and OOFOS’ patented footbed design, designed to be worn day and night.
The OOmega OOlala is the first product in OOFOS’ range to utilise the MEGA midsole, which adds a 15mm layer of OOfoam underfoot for additional protection from hard, unnatural surfaces, while retaining the signature sole’s impact absorption USP.
The Men’s OOFOS OORIGINAL Sport (Neighborhood SMU), OOcandoo and Women’s OOmega OOlala Sandal will all be available online at oofos.co.uk from late spring 2022.
