In Germany, the team at DATEV Challenge Roth presented by hep has released a film to celebrate the more than 7,500 volunteers at this year’s event.
As some events struggle to recruit volunteers in a post-Covid world, the Challenge Roth team continue to engage with its extensive volunteer base. It has produced a ‘Helferfilm’ (helper film) as a way of thanking all volunteers who help keep the event on track.
The organising team noted… ‘Volunteers are the heart and soul of every Challenge Family event but no-one has as many as Roth! Over 7,500 volunteered this year and each year the team create a ‘Helferfilm’, dedicated to all the volunteers to show their appreciation of all their hard work. None of our races could take place without the generosity of volunteers – thank you to everyone!!’
