Athletic Brewing Company, the official non-alcoholic beer provider of the IRONMAN Global Series, has released its newest limited-edition brew, Personal Record, an IPA crafted in collaboration with IRONMAN.
“Like athletes who compete in IRONMAN events, Athletic Brewing believes in being able to enjoy the little things, like kicking back with a beer, without sacrificing performance or passion,” said Athletic Brewing co-founder and CEO Bill Shufelt.
“The new Personal Record IPA pays homage to this joint commitment to always striving for more and is meant to symbolize the vibrancy of the athlete. We’re excited to offer this brew as a compliment to athletes – and their supporters – as an option for pre-or post-training and racing refreshment.”
According to a release from IRONMAN… ‘Inspired by the IRONMAN athletes who prove that Anything Is Possible By crossing finish lines around the world, Personal Record is a tribute to staying the course, chasing goals, and knowing that a Personal Record is always within reach. Brewed with turmeric and boasting flavours of mango and tropical hops, Personal Record tastes like victory.’
Athletic Brewing notes that Personal Record is brewed with El Dorado and Sabro hops for fruity and tropical notes, and the addition of turmeric gives the new beer a vibrant orange colour. At 30-40 IPU and 60 calories, this new IPA (India Pale Ale) is a ‘complement to goal chasing and striving for athletic excellence.’

This limited-edition beer offering is available starting August 10 and can be purchased at www.athleticbrewing.com and will be available at select IRONMAN events.
