Held on the weekend of April 28-29, The Canyons Endurance Runs by UTMB became the first UTMB World Series Major in the Americas.
More than 1,900 registered runners descended on the gold-rush town of Auburn, California, which is considered the birthplace of mountain ultras in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range.
The event featured four different distances of trail running including 25K, 50K, 100K and 100-mile.
