FLOWBIO, creator of the S1 wearable hydration sensor for triathletes, cyclists and runners, has appointed former Science in Sport (SiS) CEO Stephen Moon as the company’s Non-Executive Chair.
Moon will offer his experience to the emerging tech brand, having scaled SiS into one of the world’s leading sports nutrition brands. As Non-Exec Chair, the tech firm notes that his his guidance will help shape the long-term development of FLOWBIO.
Backed by the founder of the Oura Ring and counting the Brownlee brothers and the EF Pro Cycling team among its users, the S1 measures water and electrolyte losses in real-time.
‘Using an advanced algorithm, it then builds a personalised, actionable hydration profile for athletes, presenting recovery, preparation and in-session hydration plans for optimal performance.’
Headquartered in London, UK, FLOWBIO is also welcoming new enquiries regarding wholesale opportunities. Recognising the importance of localised community touchpoints, the brand is keen to pursue conversations with key retail partners as part of its 2024 rollout strategy.
