The Sports Technology Awards (STA), sometimes referred to as ‘The Oscars of Sports Technology’, has shortlisted coaching platform TriDot in three award categories including App of the Year.
Shortlisted companies are invited to walk the red carpet and attend The Sports Technology Awards Ceremony on May 9th in London, UK, where the winners will be announced.
TriDot was selected by three independent panels of judges for App of the Year, Fitness & Participation, and Data & Analytics – Sports.
In an competitive year with ‘STA’s most nominations ever’ from five continents, 30 countries and 50 sports, only three companies earned as many shortlistings. Notable shortlisted brands include Apple Fitness+, NBA, PGA Tour, San Francisco 49ers, Ticketmaster, Ryder Cup, and The Championships at Wimbledon.
TriDot is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) training platform for coaches and athletes that claims to deliver ‘better results in less time with fewer injuries’.
TriDot adds that its patents-pending technology uses athlete biometrics, training data, and coach inputs along with its own proprietary dataset, artificial intelligence, and other advanced analytics to create ‘Optimized Triathlon Training’ for each individual athlete.
The Official Training Platform of IRONMAN, TriDot also provides ongoing support to its global coach community which includes IRONMAN legends such as Mark Allen (6x IRONMAN World Champion), Michellie Jones (Olympic Silver Medallist & IRONMAN World Champion), and Mirinda ‘Rinny’ Carfrae (3x IRONMAN World Champion).
