Santini has launched its new unisex Ombra jersey, designed with Polartec Power Stretch and Polartec Delta fabrics.
The unisex Ombra jersey is one of the latest additions to Santini’s new spring/summer 2024 collection, continuing a collaboration with Polartec, with a focus on premium, technical and more sustainable fabrics.
The Santini x Polartec partnership originally began in 2018 for winter collections and has now expanded to summer ranges.
Santini notes that the idea behind the Ombra jersey is its… ‘ability to dress both men and women indistinctly, ensuring an optimal fit. Additionally, the Ombra jersey was introduced in a palette of six different colours, allowing everyone to choose the colour that best reflects their style and personality – from vibrant and eye-catching tones to more classic and sober colours.’
Made with Polartec Power Stretch on the front and back to ensure the jersey’s fit, Santini adds that Polartec Power Stretch is a performance-fit platform that expands the boundaries of stretch fabrics. The advanced construction delivers resilient 4-way stretch and recovery for the life of the garment.
Polartec Delta fabric is used on the jersey sides to offer a cooling effect. Here, a next-to-skin fabric that wicks and is fast drying will keep moisture moving. Delta works by elevating touch-points for increased airflow, faster moisture dispersal, and reduced wet-cling.
The Ombra features a slim fit and has a triple back pocket. Certified UPF30+, Ombra offers protection against harmful UV rays, shielding the skin during long days spent riding under the sun. The raw-cut sleeves add a touch of modern style, while the internally positioned silicone grip on the waist prevents the jersey from riding up whilst on the move.
With an RRP of €90 / US$100 / £80, the Ombra jersey is available in six different colours: turquoise, orange, white, nautica blue, aqua green and purple.
