IRONMAN has announced that general registration for the 2024 Visit Panama City Beach IRONMAN 70.3 Gulf Coast triathlon has officially sold out. The event, which is scheduled for Sunday, May 11, 2024, is expected to see over 2,000 triathletes compete at the event, which has been running for over 42 years in Panama City Beach, Florida.
Limited entries still remain through the IRONMAN Foundation and Enhanced Athlete Event Experiences powered by Nirvana.
The 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Gulf Coast triathlon will see athletes kick off the race with a 1.2-mile swim in the Gulf of Mexico before embarking on the 56-mile bike course through the Florida panhandle. The 13.1-mile run course takes athletes along the coastline before finishing at Edgewater Beach & Golf Resort.
The 2024 IRONMAN 70.3 Gulf Coast triathlon offers age group qualifying slots to the 2024 VinFast IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship on December14-15, 2024 in Taupō, New Zealand.
For athletes that may have missed out on registering for IRONMAN 70.3 Gulf Coast, IRONMAN points out that events such as IRONMAN 70.3 Augusta, IRONMAN 70.3 North Carolina, and IRONMAN Florida, among others, remain open for registration.
