Swiss sports brand On has again teamed up with the unique running event Night of the 10,000m PBs, as part of a new global series, ‘On Track Nights’. The evening event, on May 18, 2024, offers up ‘fast times, loud crowds and festival vibes.’
Billed as a high-octane evening of running, the Night of the 10,000m PBs attracts world-class athletes and thousands of spectators with its unique atmosphere and spectacular festival- style entertainment. The World Athletics Silver event is free for all spectators to attend, and takes place in London, UK, at Parliament Hill Athletics Track, Hampstead Heath.
The Night of the 10,000m PBs follows ‘Track Fest’ in Los Angeles as the second event in On’s new global series On Track Nights. The series provides a platform for high-performing runners to beat their PBs, gather valuable points for World Championship and Olympic qualification, and get closer to fans.
The On Track Nights series is hosting events in Los Angeles, London, Paris, Vienna and Melbourne, championing community-focused approaches to high-performance racing.
The evening in London plays host to eight track races, culminating in the women’s and men’s UK Athletics 10,000m championships, starting at 20:45 and 21:25 respectively on on May 18th.
Spectators can soak up the atmosphere while watching all of the action unfold, with pop-up circus displays from Fit-Up production, live music and DJs, as well as cheering tunnels on the track, infield spectating and pyrotechnic displays. There will also be a number of licensed food & drink vendors on-site.
Alongside the athletics, On will be showcasing its latest in performance footwear, with try-ons for the brand-new Lightning CloudSpike and CloudBoom Echo 3 available as part of the in-field entertainment.
