Ahead of the northern hemisphere indoor cycling season, Elite has released the Justo 2 and Avanti indoor bike trainers and the new Square indoor bike.
Priced at €1099 / US$1199, Justo 2 is an evolution of the Justo bike trainer and includes a Shimano 12s cassette, WiFi connectivity, and a 36-month subscription to Elite’s My E-Training platform.
According to Elite, Avanti is the company’s best launch in terms of price-offering. This trainer has an RRP of €749 / US$849 and is a top-level machine. It includes a power meter, WiFi connectivity, and up to 18% slope simulation.
Square has an RRP of €1250 (US$ TBC) and is positioned as a smart frame with a premium virtual shifting system that allows users to replicate set-ups from major groupset manufacturers (Shimano, SRAM, Campagnolo). Riders can fully customize gear ratios and sprockets by the number of the teeth or the chainrings.
It also offers pre-set profiles for flat, climb and rolling/hilly courses, and a sequential shift feature. Fully adjustable, it offers seven adjustment points that make it easy to share with other cyclists if a household is using one single trainer.
