BMC rolls out new URS gravel bike family

BMC has released its newest URS (unrestricted) gravel bikes. There are four distinct options in the shape of the URS, URS 01, URS 01 LT and the amplified URS LT AMP (e-bike).

Swiss firm BMC states that the new range blends progressive geometry, low weight, easy maintenance and host of other features.

The BMC Gravel Fit geometry offers-up a long frame reach paired with short stems for direct and responsive handling. A low bottom bracket improves traction and stability, while the 69.5° head angle helps to inspire confidence when the terrain gets steep.

There is expanded tyre clearance, up to 47mm (spec’d with 44mm tyres). Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) dropouts aid with optimized shifting and BMC points to robust rugged design elements – with frame, downtube and dropout protection.

Ample mounting points – fork mounts, fender & rack mounts, and top tube mounts – help with storage needs.

The D-Shape seatpost is dropper compatible and D-Fender compatible, and the URS comes in five sizes to fit a wide range of riders (XS, SM, Med, large, XL) allowing riders to find their best fit.
